Do You Read Eating Disorder Memoirs?

Although our knowledge of eating disorders has increased in recent years, there is still much more to be learnt. Often it is those who have, or have had an eating disorder who can offer the most useful insights into these serious illnesses.

The purpose of this study is to learn more about peoples' experiences of reading eating disorder memoirs. This survey should take no longer than 10 - 15 minutes and your help would be very much appreciated.

Although unlikely, the survey may raise some concerns for you because it includes some personal questions. If you experience any negative feelings or distress please do not continue with the survey.  If you would like to discuss your concerns with a professional, please contact your local G.P/Doctor.

Please do not hesitate to contact the researcher at jta26@cam.ac.uk should you have any questions or comments.

This project has received ethical approval from the Psychology Research Ethics Committee at the University of Cambridge.
